As best man having to organise a stag, I would highly recommend Greg and Hard Days Knight - they helped me organise a really successful stag do in challenging conditions.
We had to rearrange the date several times due to Covid, and the numbers fluctuated as well meaning that we had to adjust the activities to suit. Greg was always on hand to recommend some great options - not only accommodation and activities but also the best restaurants and cafes to visit.
If you put your faith in Hard Days Knight you will not be disappointed.
One thing to be aware of is that since Hard Days Knight effectively act as an agent to lots of different suppliers, they are at the behest of the suppliers themselves. We didn’t get our deposit back on the accommodation that we booked through HDK despite it having to be cancelled due to legal Covid restrictions, which I was pretty disappointed about. We will re-use the booking in the future (no other choice!), but obviously it’s meant a significant extra outlay as I had to find accommodation elsewhere at additional cost. I booked our 2nd accommodation though Sykes cottages, where notably I was able to pay a small premium to secure a 100% refund on accommodation cancelled due to Covid.
Similarly, the transport booked through HDK let us down at very last minute. There’s not a lot HDK can do about this, but it’s nevertheless something to be aware of when you make your plans. In the end we just drove ourself from place to place, and I made sure there was always one or two enough of us fit enough to drive the morning after the night before!
Despite this, if I was booking something like this in the future then Hard Days Knight would be the first people I would call.

I never thought I'd go to Derbyshire and keep returning time after time, yet the service offered by Greg (HDK) is just so good it is basically now an annual trip now. Greg has organised a range of trips for me. Each time the accommodation is perfect with him giving great advice on our needs. He suggests and arranges fantastic activities at a great price and is never pushy about upselling anything.
I recommend HDK to everyone who mentions a weekend away and will naturally be booking with them again soon

Arranging a stag for 15 guys is a daunting thing to do, but Greg could not have made the process easier. We did the shooting syndicate and the karting, both of which are well priced and highly recommended. We stayed at the Farmhouse, which was pretty much the perfect place for a stag. But most of all, Greg went the extra mile for us, which is all the more admirable given the uncertainty surrounding the entire events industry over the pandemic. He was always on hand at short notice to answer questions and provided some helpful insights about the area. I cannot recommend his service more.

We had a great stag weekend which was made very easy to plan with the help of Greg at Hard Days Knight. We booked the Nordic cabins at Yeaveley for accomodation and booked the Outdoor Karting and Grand Night out for our activities. Our hosts at Yeaveley Estate were great and the facilities were even better than we expected. The activities were great and we'd highly recommend the Brewery tour at The Roebuck pub & brewery.

We had a wonderful weekend in Belper organised through Greg and Hard Days Knight. We were a large group of 19 so had worried about not finding anywhere at just 3 months notice (we’d held back due to lockdown uncertainty). However, Greg was incredibly helpful and sorted our accommodation speedily and with great communication throughout the process. He was ever available, and was helpful and professional throughout conversations via phone, email and WhatsApp. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Greg was very helpful in organising both axe throwing and a bbq in January. Everything went smoothly and Andie who ran the axe throwing was a great instructor and organised a fun competition for us and even gave me a bottle of Prosecco as I was celebrating my birthday. The food for the bbq was great and good value for money with a wide selection of options.

Absolutely superb experience with Hard Days Knight and would highly recommend.
I was organising a Stag just as COVID restrictions caused issue with the wedding and in turn the stag do. In total, the event was re-scheduled or drastically changed 4 times and without Greg at HDK taking the helm on this, I simply couldn’t have secured the accommodations or held onto my deposits.
With all the complication of re-booking there was an awful lot of opportunity to take advantage but Greg stayed absolutely true to his word on everything and clearly had my best interest in mind. I didn’t lose a thing.
As far as the event itself goes, Greg was completely honest, often recommending options that would reduce the costs while providing more value and understood the unique budgeting problems a stag do obviously presents! The result was a Stag where everything from events, accommodation, meals and transportation were sorted. We would literally walk outside to a bus waiting for us and Greg hit a perfect balance of great events and things to do without feeling rushed or strapped for time. Not only this but the schedule he provided seemed to be accurate to the minute!
Having somebody on hand that has an incredible wealth of local connections made the event so easy to organise and on many occasions, felt we had special treatment just because we had organised through HDK. Not only that but having good business links means that it genuinely cost me no more going through HDK than it would have been if I went direct.
Everyone and the Groom had a ridiculously good long weekend away and the only downside in the end was that I actually felt bad being complimented for such a fantastic experience without lifting a finger or indeed paying any extra!
So glad that I stumbled across Hard Days Knight and am now left looking for excuses to book up something else through them!

From the moment I spoke with Greg, I had complete confidence in Hard Day's Knight. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every activity I enquired about and was extremely friendly and helpful.
He gave me 100% assurance for a money back guarantee in relation to Covid, which was fantastic as a previous company I had booked with were being incredibly awkward with their T's & C's.
He wasn't pushy with booking anything, none of the usual "oh it's the last place", "better book quickly" rubbish that other companies try on.
It was really easy to contact him via phone with any questions I had, he responded promptly on Whatsapp and email and was very thorough with paperwork so I knew all the activity information and details regarding payment.
The booking was for my husband's 30th birthday, for him and 9 of his mates to go Axe Throwing and Quad Biking and they absolutely LOVED IT!! They had so much fun and there was laughter all the way through. My husband returned covered in mud and grinning from ear to ear. I couldn't have wished for it to go any better! I definitely win Best Wife Award for this one, so HUGE thanks to Greg for all his hard work!

AMAZING! BRILLIANT! FANTASTIC! Greg is a true gentleman, squared me right away. As best man there are a lot of pressures, and the stag do is a big one. Greg made it a piece of cake, arranged everything and the weekend went seamlessly, activities, transport, pubs, accommodation sorted it all, and great value for money. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a cracking stag do or party.

After been giving the task to book a 4 day Stag for 24 guys, i stumbled across Hard Days Knight, A quick email and a phone call to Greg and i knew i had found the man who could arrange it all!
Greg had it all under control, we booked the Farmhouse and coach house, plenty of room for a stag do of that size especially with the snooker room and out door seating space.
Greg arranged a coach for every day, meaning we could move a large group around between pubs, restaurants and activates without any issues at all.
We booked the shooting syndicate which is a great half day to have a break from all the drinking, a must do for competitive groups!
I could spend hours writing about the great weekend we had arranged by Greg and the team, we trusted him with a huge no expense spared weekend and he made it happen at a very affordable price!

Is this group still in business? I've called, emailed and messaged many times over the last few weeks. I got one callback from someone who told me that the person in charge would call me that evening or the next day but since then, nothing.

As you should know my comments are all based on fact and your attempts to discredit them just seems desperate.
38 acre estate ?? Then why put us 50 yards from the owners house ?
To ask for a CASH deposit is out of order for young lads away. I thought we lived in the 20th century with card machines etc.
If the tents are only one year old I'm amazed. I thought they were genuinely from the Second World War such was the state of them.
The owner did show us how to get hot water by switching the shower on and back on. This hot water lasted about 20 seconds then turned cold.
The Karting was really poor. To say the karts are well maintained and serviced... Well our kart had no breaks to start with and if you contact the place I'm sure they will remember me coming into the pits at 30mph.
The training if the kids sorry marshals is shocking. I am a race safe trained Marshall and attend lots events from club level to BSB and World super bikes. While I would not expect this standard I would expect them to be paying attention etc and not giving warning flags out for legal over taking.
I'm afraid you are very badly mistaken if you think this is one of the countries premier karting venues.
My last point is your reference to my previous posts. Just a pure simple attempt to discredit my review. Yes I do only review things on here when I'm really dissatisfied. That way maybe the owners may act upon it.
I'm sorry you struggle to deal with critisism but if you get no feed back like this nothing will improve.
I hope I've brought to your attention parts of you business that could do with review.
