Love the park, its very relaxing and peaceful. Nice cafe serving light meals and snacks and the all important cup of tea. The paths are good and you can decide how muddy you want to go with the dogs, stick to the gravel paths for less mud! Parking is ample but is charged (pay and display) You can get a... More

Great place this time of year. Not many people about. Good for a walk and clear your head in fresh air and peace. Look for the birds and other animals still about

It's okay as its local attraction - just a mile away - but I would not travel too far for it - it gets really busy in the summer. - I would hang on for the forthcoming Rushden lakes or Stanwick lakes which much more to offer the kids

I'd say that I sometimes felt lost at the park as the signage of the trails was not clear enough and we ended up going down the dead end trails a couple times, but on the other hand the place is not that massive to have too much of a problem with that. Apart of that it was a relaxing... More

I always come here no mater the weather, its fun for my grand-kids with plenty of hills and space for them to explore. There's a dinosaur fossil area, which they love and a big play area. it's also good for picnics and family get togethers in the summer. it's nice to walk the dog and you meet lots of other... More

Me and Woody love the woods at Irchester Country Park. in the winter is quiet with only the serious dog walkers out and about. Woody loves to explore off his lead and swim in every muddy puddle available (there are plenty).

First visit here for a few years. Was very busy as expected, but with most people visiting the park and with several routes to take it works out ok. Great views across the quarry, with lots of different birds present. Good walk!

Nice peaceful walk in the late Autumn sun. Midweek during term time is a great time to go for a walk as there are very few people about. Allow a couple of hours then enjoy a coffee at the cafe.
