A group of seven of us went here on Sunday, 4 adults and 3 children. How disappointing, our first cost was £5 for parking, only a few stalls for the Bavarian market, the cost for the rides was averaging around £3 - £4 each which you have to load up a tappet card with money and they charge you £1 to activate, if you don't spend it all they do not refund. The rides will not take cash! The ice skating rink was great although expensive the Mermaid Cove very amateurish although they did get the children up to participate which was fun. The indoor play area is charged at £7 per child and £2 per adult what a rip off, the adults spend money in the cafe any way! This place is just money grabbing, avoid at all cost unless you are rich.…

If you have young children it might be worth a visit for the rides but for adults a definite no!…

I understand there's commercial issues with the company and that they've recently gone into receivership, although it's still open to dog racing. An evening with the dogs is great fun, dining, drinking and betting.........all the traits of a pure UK resident :) I'd suggest that you go as a small party, say 6 to 8ish to max out the fun element. The service and food are really good and whilst dining the wine flows (at a cost of course) and one can bet on each dog race to increase the entertainment value. All-in-all, an excellent night out.…
