I had been given a gift voucher for this experience and I took my 20 year old daughter who loves animals too. We had a lovely couple of hours walking Indigo and Grappa even though the weather was a bit chilly. Sarah who runs Catanger Llamas gave a short intro and showed us how to handle them before we all... OUR eldest son Lloydy fixed this fantastic day out for all the family - and he deserves a gold star for spotting this huge treat. First things first. Sarah, who runs this llama farm, is made for the job. She clearly loves her 'babies' to bits, she's very knowledgeable and she's great with people too - friendly, chatty, relaxed and... More

Really excellent half day. A warm welcome from Sara the guide, who was very informative through out the trip and very passionate about what she does.the llamas were fabulous, and all had there own personality. We did the 4 mile walk. About 3 hours in total with the short briefing and tea and cakes when we got back. Can't wait to go... More

I took my 13 year old daughter and my mum on Mother's Day. We were there for 3 hours which included a talk about llamas and handling them, a trek with the llamas and a special treat of complimentary tea and cake as it was Mother's day. The talk on Llamas was very interesting and relevant , it contained just... More

This was our second trek with Catanger Llama. We were very welcomed. Sarah was very friendly. My son who is 9yr and has Autism really enjoyed the trek. He was able to trek with a Llama named Indigo again who he built a connection with on our very first trek. The Llamas are are well looked after, and are truely... More

We received an experience day voucher and chose to go llama treking as a different kind of day out. Sarah was really friendly from the moment we emailed to the day we actually turned up. We were booked in with another couple who had cancelled (possibly due to the rain?) so we got to walk with two llamas and really... More

The llama trek was excellent - lots of info about the llamas and a nice long Saturday morning walk in the country. Llamas were very well-behaved and fun to be with. I was sad to say goodbye to mine at the end. Would highly recommend for a special occasion or an interesting day out. Thank you very much!

As a self confessed llamaholic, I have experienced llama trekking before. (in the absence of actually buying me a llama of my own & I'm still working on it) friends and family spoil me with these sort of things. The Catanger llamas experience was by far the best I have done by a very long way. The location and home... More
