I am somewhere between 3 & 4 stars....the food is good and reasonably priced but the dining area is a bit 'tired'. So I would give the food a 4 and the venue a 3. On the plus side the staff are friendly and polite.

Have been told by several people what a great pub this is, and they weren't wrong, good selection of ales, helpful and friendly staff and well accepted by the locals. A place I will certainly visit again. Check it out.
This place is really an oasis in a desert of also-ran pubs.
