Breakfasted here after a lovely walk through the gardens on a crisp Sunday morning. I had the fruit toast, which was delicious, but my friends raved about the homemade crumpets. Great coffee.

A charming botanic garden in the heart of Daylesford, a charming Victoria country town. Some beautiful old trees, impressive rhododendrons, a watch tower to climb for the views and a quaint little restaurant to have some tea make for a relaxing morning surrounded by birdsong.

Situated above the Convent Gallery, the Gardens are based on an old traditional (mainly Trees) style - there is a Café, open most afternoons. The lookout takes a bit to climb - and has good views over the countryside (township is covered by the trees!). Nice place to enjoy on a hot day...

A beautiful garden to drive around and see the sites of Daylesford or you can take a wander around the gardens and then have lunch or coffee at the glorious cafe

These well established botanical gardens offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The gardens are peaceful with lots of gentle pathways, although some parts are hilly. Shady ferneries for quiet contemplation, sunny fields for the little ones to play and a lovely cafe to enjoy a light meal or refreshing drink. Not to be missed.

We've been here a few times, generally on a foggy day to get the full experience of sitting up at the top of the hill. Food and drinks are both extremely pricey, generally we try to steer clear of the food so as not to overspend, but the times we've eaten here, the food is always decent but the heavy... More

We decided to have a picnic lunch in the Gardens. We were lucky to secure one of only 2-3 picnic tables after searching for a carpark. Grounds look tired and unkempt. Toilet facilities could only be described as basic. Sad
