Be sure to visit Daylesford lake to experience the peace and quiet this wonderful town has to offer. A morning walk or jog is a great way to start the day.

This is a beautiful and relaxing place, but our experience was spoilt. We drove over hour to be told the kids could not hire a paddle boat, because they would break it! I understand some bigger not so gentle kids might be to rough with...More

Beautiful lake with really nice views. There was a gorgeous cafe right on the lake that we stopped at to have a coffee but unfortunately they didn’t serve just drinks and we’d already eaten. The other cafe was also closed so that was a shame....More

Beautiful lake in the heart of Daylesford. Takes about an hour to walk around and there are some nice photo opportunities. Was a bit difficult to buy a coffee as the only open cafe only did drinks with food.

We actually had a morning swim in this lake. We were told Jubilee was better, but in fact this was much nicer.

Lake Daylesford is a wonderful way to spend an hour looking at the views from various points around the lake. Easy walk while having some rises to contend with should appeal to most people. Probably not suitable for walking frames.

It is nice short 30-40 minute walk around the lake. We did it quite a few times in the 24 hours we were there. It is a peaceful walk. The lake is beautiful and the photos are excellent. A must see when in the area.
