An organised tour of Cricket Willow was arranged for us by one of the group, as she was a friend of the couple who own and operate this place. Such interesting history, both of the area - the early Swiss/Italian settlers - and then the...More

Lots of family and district information and of course cricket info! You get to see where the willows grow and how they make cricket bats from scratch. They have their own cricket oval with a picket fence. Lots of memorabilia

We had a coffe and a self guided tour. The paraphernalia that it available to peruse is extraordinary. If one is interested at all in cricket then this is a MUST.

What a gem this place is...tucked away in Hepburn Springs, Vic where we are greeted by a living legend in Ian Tenetti. Ian Tinetti is about as Aussie as they come. Cricket Willow is a cricket tragic's field of dreams. It was here that the...More

While the cricket ground and the memorabilia were worth seeing, it struck me as a place that had passed its heyday. You might have thought there would be a good display on how bats are made but this was missing, unfortunately.

Met the sixth generation of the property. My horror was that no Australian cricketer, at all, is using Australian willow, no one since Adam Gilgrest. The property cannot afford to sponsor anyone, BUT could not the Australian cricket chip in. It was very interesting to...More

Cricket is great. Food is pretty mediocre - frozen party pies, chicken nuggets etc. I suspect if they got more business - they'd up the food - but this town is full of great food. If you want to know what an Aussie kid got...More

It started so well, with the hosts calling me almost immediately after a website query & nicely fitting us into an existing tour. However, we ended up wishing we weren't able to go. We went to see/learn about cricket bat production. Instead we got an...More

Cricket Willow could be an amazing place to visit. So much interesting sporting memorabilia. But what a disappointment. What should have been an interesting visit about the making of cricket bats turned into about 3 hours hearing Ian's views on many different topics. Hopefully it...More
