Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This lookout on the way to Cape Tribulation is a must stop and look place. The views across the rainforest towards the mouth of the Daintree River are fabulous. Take time to admire the scenery when travelling the road to the cape.

I took a tour of the Daintree, and this was one of my favorite spots. It was a beautiful place to take photos. The air was extremely pure and fresh, which was great for someone like me who suffers from allergies. I hope to be back here again one day to explore the area more!

Pleasant view over the forest looking south makes this a pleasant short stop. No walking tracks available but good for a five minute stop.

A superb panorama of the Rainforest area looking over to the coast & the Daintree River Mouth ... high lights the whole area you are passing through.
This is Eastern Kuku Yalanji territory & there are several aspects of the landscape that have spiritual significance.

Sadly we didn't have the best weather but it was still a great view that would be magical in perfect weather. Well worth the stop when in the area.

Did a brief stop here. View of the rainforest down below was beautiful. Can see the Daintree River draining into the sea.

It's a quick stop along the way into entering the Daintree but very much worth a look for a few minutes. I'm not sure what sort of view I expected, it was quite overcast and hazy when I went through but it was pretty nice for what it was. A nice intro to the Daintree.

This is right off the road, so it's easy to stop - no going out of the way to get to it. It has a beautiful view and is worth the stop. I've heard that sometimes fresh fruit is sold in the parking lot, but we weren't lucky enough to see any vendors.

This lookout also goes by the Aboriginal name 'Walu Wugirriga Lookout', and is a ten-minute drive north from the Daintree Ferry.

Parking was available on both sides of the road, but we found the best approach was from the north heading back to Port Douglas.

We happened to have a geography teacher in our little group, so he looked pretty happy surveying the rainforest, the islands off the coast, the mouth of the Daintree River, and Port Douglas in the distance. There is a helpful sign-board to help visitors identify the landmarks amongst the expansive views.

The carpark isn't overly big, but it was enough to accommodate the stream of travellers returning from Cape Trib. People generally walked across to the lookout, checked out the scenery, took a few photos, then were back on the road soonafter.

This is a lovely spot to stop, stretch the legs and admire the scenery as you're travelling through. I believe the black and electric blue Ulysses Butterfly is often seen in this area, but on this occasion we weren't so fortunate.

After a long drive towards Cape trip (from Cairns), it was sooo refreshing to step out of the car and breathe in the fresh air up here. Spectacular views.
