A wonderful stroll through unfamiliar terrain when stories of crocs and jellyfish leave you nervous. Well marked and safe it offers a view into the mangroves without the risks! We spotted lizards and crabs mostly but all sorts are seen along this scenic route.

We had a lovely stroll along the boardwalk in the afternoon. It was low tide so you could see lots of the mangrove roots. The umbrella palms are beautiful. It's a really nice walk with changing landscapes before coming out onto a beautiful beach. This is a nice, relaxing activity with lots to see along the way with a rewarding... More

This easy 1+ km walk through the mangrove rainforest of Cape Tribulation takes you back in time and gives you a sense of what this region has been like for millions of years. There are giant fan palms above and around you, large strangler fig trees, and other strange plants. Signs explain the local plants and animals, enriching your experience... More

About half was closed, there were some other nicer forest walks, but this was great and good to get down to the beach this way.

Don't miss this boardwalk, all of the boardwalks offer something slightly different and this one is no exception.

We did this walk 2-3 times as we stayed at Ferntree across the road. Lovely quiet bit of nature. Definitely cross the picnic area and head to the mangrove boardwalk to see some lizards and crabs.

Well done to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services (QPWS) for installing and maintaining this great, free walk. Informative signage and easy accessibility were great, allowing for visitors to see whilst protecting the rainforest.

A nice little boardwalk with some interesting information. Unfortunately half of it was closed for maintenance but it was still worth the trip.

This was the third walk we did in the Daintree area. Another beautiful boardwalk with incredible plant life. We were surprised that the track was closed at the halfway point. We had missed the small photo pinned to the information board showing the portion closed.

Went for a walk with the family, at half way point noticed that the walkway was closed due to repairs. Would have been nice is there were some signage at the car park notifying travelers of the repairs.
