We were given some good information at the TIC. However, we could not find all the numbers, of the plants. The Bushlands are a good idea but they have suffered badly by drought and inattention.

This is a bushland park in development stage, but so far the work done is very interesting. There are good information boards about the various environments and flora. Some areas needed a bit of tidying up, but the Aussie bush is not generally a tidy...More

We were looking forward to seeing area but were disappointed. Know the area is in drought but paths were eroded and road in had large holes filled with water and was boggy. Council needs to spend some funds on upgrading the bushlands display and ensuring...More

The gardens are still quite new and many of the plants, mainly the trees, need time to get themselves established. A good display of local native plants and ecosystems. Quite a number of native birds already breeding in the gardens and through the dry season...More

If you are interested in nature then Cunnamulla is slowly developing walks around the town and a bit beyond. The river walk as you exit the town toward Eulo has a good track and various signs explaining flora and fauna along the track

We were here during the winter season and there was still crazy amounts of flies when we tried to walk around. Wouldn't recommend stopping in the town for long.

After a long journey, it's nice to park up and stretch the legs at the Bushlands. We stopped in for a sunset stroll and saw a good selection of wildlife. Good way to see the different types of bush around Cunnamulla. If you come in...More
