Dear Guest
We are sorry to read that you did not enjoy your experience with us, but we do thank you for the kind words regarding our operations. All the info regarding sightings is located on our website under the FAQ tab. The 98% guarantee is throughout the cooler months which this information is on our website, in our wildlife disclaimer which is in our terms and conditions on our website plus before you pay for your tour on our website, it is on our brochure, and it is on affiliate websites. Our staff are also well trained in informing self-drive guests without online bookings, enquiries, or general questions regarding sightings outside of the cooler months. If you booked through a third party, it is your responsibility to not only check the third parties terms and conditions/info but also the operators terms and conditions/info as you are bound by both when you book through an affiliate. If you would have searched our website, called, or emailed or dropped in you would not have written this review. We are the only operator that even goes to an extent to try and educate guests on seasonal changes because we do care, and we want everyone to be happy. As a long-term wildlife operator, we can somewhat predict crocodile sightings but even our predications are not guaranteed. Wildlife is simply wild.
In response to the sighting that was heard over the radio - we operate and advertise as 1-hour cruises which are back-to-back and if the tour is nearing its end and there has been a sighting that is not close by, we just can not power up to the sighting because the boat is required to stay on schedule. Our guides are experienced and as advertised commentary is provided on the flora and fauna of the Daintree River (not all about crocs). We do understand how much guests want to see crocodiles that is why we issue FREE return tickets when there are no crocodile sightings, and these return tickets never expire!
There is nothing we can do if people do not read what they are booking. If you have a solution, please enlighten us.
