All store owners were lovely, great service with a smile. There were many beautiful jewellery items, and island vibe clothing. The only problem was that it was a small market, however this is to be expected considering the islands population!
We have been to markets around Australia but this market would have been bigger if the time had been right like during the summer or say Easter with more people about, but with only about ten stalls this was a disapointment.
We stayed across the road and listened to the buskers playing music it was excellent.
The markets were nothing special for me but my wife enjoyed them, for me the standout was the Thai food stall.

Small market in gorgeous location. Worth a look if you are on the island. Some nice local artwork and shell craft, fun drinking coconuts but not everything is locally made. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Remembering we visited in the middle of winter after two or so years of declining tourist numbers, we found this market (held every two weeks on Sundays) to be quite small. There were approximately 15 stalls, most with some form of jewellery or clothing. One...More
