I often laugh when the visitor center is a “thing to do” in town. This is one amazing visitor center. Very interactive. Spent almost 2 hours there. Definitely recommend

We were literally 1 min too late to see the Dunnart - foiled yet again on another trip to the Creek. Seems a pity to close so early on a weekend - at least 4 other couples arrived not long after us.

Really well done facility, great taste of local culture, friendly helpful staff. Useful info and advice about Liv’s features, not to mention home of the too cute dunnart!

Recently stopped in Julia creek, this information centre has more to offer than you would expect, lots of information on the town & its history, plus a look see at the tiny weeny dunnart, very cute the kids would love it, plus the floor experience.

Beautifully landscaped and designed info center - like an oasis in the outback. We stopped for a short break on our drive west, just in time to watch the Julia Creek Dunnart feeding and info talk - very interesting;
