This museum is definitely worth a look. Very well set out with most of the pieces labelled for easy identification. It’s run by volunteers and a $2 donation goes toward the upkeep of the museum.

Attached to the information Centre in Kingaroy this Museum covers most aspects of early life in the district. There is a significant reference to the peanut industry of course but general early ingenuity also get a mention. Its free and well worth a visit. Recommended

Fascinating collection of early machinery designed by local farmers for growing and harvesting peanuts. Examples of the ingenuity of people on the land. Beyond this display is a more general collection of memorabilia.
