I read with interest a, and a chuckle , an earlier review that the Center could possibly do with some "interactive exhibits " and didn't quite float their boat !! Maybe a mechanical bull to allow those inclined to litigation an option !! Have visited...More

Hi Steve, Thanks for your review, so true, the tenacity of those who spent their lives enjoying and enduring the harsh rugged beauty of "The Outback " and the ingenuity of Outback Legends, is amazing. We are pleased you enjoyed your time here.

We visited here after going to the Qantas Founders Museum. We were a little disappointed, the film about the Stockman was interesting but the rest of the centre seems a little drab. Maybe some interactive exhibits would liven up the place. The cafe was good.

Hi Mary, Thanks for your review, The Stockman's Hall Of Fame is a great place to visit for all ages... and even better with the heat, as the air conditioned venue makes it most enjoyable. Have a safe and happy new year!

Will take awhile to go around everything, a lot of information. Loved the interactive pieces. Recommend a look leave about 1/2 day for this.

This is well set up but I found too much reading in it. I would like more movies so to speak showing stock peoples lives The do have some but of yesteryear and todays life on the farms

Although 'outback' tales and 'country pursuits' aren't really my sort of thing you have to visit 'Stockies' because it has so much to tell us it contains so much about this particular aspect of Australia's pioneering history. We just visited the museum we didn't include...More
