Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place to view the coast from, unfortunately it was a Misty view for us but would be amazing on a clear day.
Looks like base jumpers or the like were packing up when we arrived.
Parking is easy, but turning off the busy Maleny-Montville road can be tricky with the road being very busy both ways. All in all, we'll worth the breath of fresh air

Located on the Maleny-Montville Road, this lookout gives a 180 degree view of the Hinterland and also provides glimpses of the coastline far in the distance.
A directional dial located at the lookout provides the opportunity to ascertain geographic points in the distance.
Great views from this vantage point.
Worth the stop.
Fifteen minutes is sufficient time here

Stunning panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast and the best coffee!! The coffe van man said proudly his grandfather had worked the land around here. The coffee was awesome, we stopped here twice.

Gerrards Lookout is situated on the Maleny - Mountville road and is well worth a stop for lovely views of the surrounding rolling hills and the hinterland.
Also a lovely spot for a picnic under the gazebo.

My husband & I were on our honeymoon in the Glasshouse Mountains and were so excited to leave our love locket at this gorgeous lookout. Is super easy to find and to access from the road. Amazing views! Loved looking at all the other lockets and can't wait to go back in years time to see ours again.

With national parks in rainforest and bushland and delightful hillside towns to explore, this area gives you an overview of the Great Divide mountains of this part of SE Queensland. Views to the Glasshouse Mountains and breathtakingly fresh air!

Land donated by the Gerrard family...thankyou! Rotunda is well maintained. Great place to stop for a cuppa from the thermos and take in the beautiful views. Adequate off road parking. Ramp or stairs up to lookout.
