We have visited several time and this time found they are selling. Hopefully new owners will roast in the way, using mainly natural qld sunshine. Can only wish happy retirement. Such special coffee growers.

Unfortunately some travellers will head out on Dimbulah Rd and maybe travel 5 or 6 km before turning around and muttering that they can't find the Coffee plantation. People, friends, fellow travellers and coffee lovers, YOU need to drive 10 km along the Dimbulah re from Mareeba and I assure you, Maria, wonderful lady that she is, will not only... More

Lovely little family owned farm. We really enjoyed our time with Bruno learning how he grows and roasts coffee the old fashion way to create beautiful rich flavours.

Bruno and Maria need to be on the register of national treasures for their coffee and warm welcome. This family run business should be supported because of their passion for coffee and their perseverance. The contrast with Coffeeworks is huge, but I know who I would rather support!

Really back to basics, and we loved it. Although blink and you'll miss the entry off the road, we had to turn around and go back.

We thoroughly appreciated our time spent with Bruno and Maria; learning about the process of growing coffee, seeing their humble machinery and roasting/packaging shed, savouring a specially brewed espresso, as well as purchasing some beans to bring home. It wasn't the easiest to find this place so here are a few tips: - if you are coming from Kuranda, after... More

Whilst in Mareeba you can visit numerous coffee growers. However, you can also visit Maria and Bruno at North Queensland Gold Coffee planation. They give a back to basics insight to coffee growing and personal tour. Don't be put off by the non-tourist approach, this is a working coffee planation run by Maria and Bruno. They are very friendly. You... More

Well, we missed the sign even though we had been warned and ended up at the "big" plantation two minutes just up the road, which does have rest rooms should you need them :). As we were there we decided to have a look around anyway and have a coffee. We spoke to a lovely lady who told us a... More

This is the real coffee experience for real coffee people. Instead of constant pandering to tourists with gift shops over priced food or glossy advertising, this place lets their wealth of experience do the talking. It is a family run business which offers you a chance to tour the plantation with a family that have been doing it most of... More
