We started our visit with a short video presentation about the history of the region and dinosaur discoveries. Following this, there were several rooms to explore. Guests are provided with audio guides which match up to numbers on each display. Very much a self paced...More

Easy to wander around, a very interesting museum with Kronosaurus as the focus. You can watch volunteers and scientists tending the fossils, plus ask them questions as they work.

I stopped in Richmond as this was a destination on the Dinosaur Trail I had been doing. I was only going to spend a short amount of time in Richmond but after going through Kronosaurus Korner I was so intrigued I had to go fossicking...More

This place is a must do to show our kids that Australia also had Dinosaurs here. A very educational experience for all the family. Highly Recommend

My time at Kronosaurus Korner was really great. I loved the way that I got to use special equipment to dig away at limestone to discover fossils in the rock and do it all with a paleontologist, called Michelle, so I knew what was what...More

Kronosaurus Corner is an amazingly good museum highlighting some of the stunning finds that have been made in the region over recent years. Well worth visiting with some excellent exhibits - the cafe is probably the best in town too!

Very knowledgeable staff. The display about local dinosaurs and fossils was extremely interesting. Self guided tour explains the items in detail and paints a good picture of what the place was like many millions of years ago.

What a great place to visit in the dinosaur trail! Starts with an audiovisual display to introduce you what it was like 100million years ago out there and then you enter the museum with an audio guide where you push the number corresponding to the...More

We found the Ammonite Inn motel was a good place to base our Richmond activities from. It also has a restaurant which serves up excellent meals. The managers were very friendly and helpful when we stayed there.
