What an amazing site this is. There’s a very informative board which explains how the fig tree has formed. Amazing and a must see if you’re in the area.

Unilike the Cathedral Fig Tree, the Curtain Fig Tree is off a side road, on your right as you leave the Gillies Range Road. The first bit is paved, then you have about 1 or 2 kilometres of unpaved road. This will seem like it...More

Tree is cool. At first I was like hmm we are going to see a tree when there are thousands of them? I was wrong was pretty cool. Nature does it again. Boardwalk good too easily accessible

From mid-Canada, this kind of foliage is unique! Our children (ages 7&9) were as mesmerizing by this tree as we were! We enjoyed the solitude offered by a mid-week viewing, speculating about how one would climb it if allowed. Curiously enough, we overheard a local...More

Also saw a Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo and many species of birds. The short timber board walk is suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Certainly worth the visit. Not a long way off the main road and simply stunning. Go and visit, you will not be disappointed. Easily accessible on a boardwalk so great for strollers and wheelchairs.
