Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A relaxed, attractive space, looking out over the countryside from a covered patio area. The information given on the beers was knowledgeable. The tasting was a good mix of interesting ales. We came away with a very good selection. While in the area mainly for wine tasting, this was a very good addition.

We visited this brewery 4 years ago and my husband swears it’s the best stout in Australia. It certainly did not disappoint and especially the Imperial stout is highly recommended.

Friendly service and a great array of beers in a stunning setting. Nothing fancy, just good beer and great mates!

You gotta stop off here if in Maclaren Vale!!! When you’ve reached your Wine limit a lager or stout is the next best choice! Great selection to choose from for a paddle. I was pleasantly surprised by the dark ales as I usually prefer a lighter more tangy beer. Was cool to be served, as it turned out, by the Owner...asked him a lot of questions and got some interesting answers...😂 Definitely recommend a visit here! Great outdoor seated area too.

Beautiful spot, great beers, it was just too bad the American guy who served us was rude and left a bitter taste in our mouth. Would return if he wasn’t there

The range of strong beers was exceptional. There was even an Imperial Pils. A pity I was driving as I would have liked to sit and enjoy the view a little longer. Would be even better if brews available off the tap and some hot food options.

Visited after playing golf at Mount Compass. Have been previously and this time was actually a little disappointed compared to previous occasions.
Ordered a tasting paddle and a couple of them were in the flat side.
One downside is they only habe bottles, no kegs onsite.
Will be back but not in a hurry to do so..

What a lovely, laid back, friendly craft brewery in a lovely location.
They obviously know what they’re doing here and the fact that they obviously love doing it just shines through.
Oh yes, the Golden Pale Ale is just Soooo good, I’ll be talking about it for a long time and I aim to return.
Thanks

We visited the brewery early on Sunday morning and were alone at the tasting bench. The owner was very generous with information on all the available beers, their differences and brewing methods. Very informative.
