We were not expecting this in a country tower of now 1200. A full newspaper printing shop set up just as the owner left it without notice 20 years ago. All the machinery works and is demonstrated by the outstanding tour guide. We learnt so...More

We visited this amazing and completely intact printing museum (although more a living and breathing and at times working print works). Mary our guide was so informative and her passion for the place and what it stands for so engaging. The last owner walked out...More

This was so interesting and the guide was lovely and informative even though she wasn’t the usual guide. The presentation of the printing workshop has been so well preserved and is run by the most dedicated and passionate group of volunteers. Well worth a visit....More

This is a fascinating insight into the technology of the early 20th Century and before. All the machinery still works and the guides showing you around have great knowledge of the subject. A very worthwhile stop in a great town.

The old Print works is almost exactly as the former owner left....like he'd shut the shop and gone to the pub for a beer on a Friday evening. Local History group very informative, and knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful guide. All machines work and the printing processes were explained simply. We now understand how to coin a phrase and mind our p’s and q’s. The place reeks of history. Well worth the entrance fee.
