This is such a special little place. It is tucked away in the woods just south of Huntington Beach. Lake Erie Nature center lets you learn about local wildlife and the best part is it is free.

Great little spot to check out some animals. No cost to go in, with a few animals to check out and see. Most of the animals I believe were previously injured and this place helps get them back to good health and back into the...More

Science and nature learning center. Injured animals can be helped here and returned to the wild. A great place for children - and adults - interested in wildlife and science.

Free or donation. Local animal life and environmental displays. Clean. Pleasant. Informative. Well managed. ~1/2 hr to hr walk-thru. Many family oriented programs - see dates on website. If you're taking kids to the beach, stop here.

We recently took our two year old there. Admission is free, but I think planetarium shows have a cost. There is a nice outdoor pond and a small collection of animals, mostly birds and fish. We did not see any shows; fully exploring the rest...More
