We were greeted by ladies in Victorian costumes and it took our group back in time to experience all that the musuem had to offer. We did the full education tour and learned so much in such a short period of time. It was wonderful to hear the stories of how Cambridge glass was made, who were the workers, how... More

The museum is an outstanding collection representing the decades of Cambridge Glass. In addition to the beautiful showcases, there are historical displays and artifacts. The docents could not have been more helpful, including looking up relatives in the old payroll books. There is a small gift shop, specializing in the famous Rosepoint design, The visit is perfect for adults for... More

You might consider this museum a sleeper, but word is getting out. Is it art or is it history? It's a lot of both. With an expansive, well organized display of diverse beautiful glass items and staffed with friendly, knowledgable docents, this museum offers history and art in spades. The display cases are numerous and filled with a wide variety... More

Staying at Salt Fork Lodge for my wife's birthday, decided to stop here to see the glass museum. Didn't really know what to expect, but was more than pleasantly surprised with the tour. In fact, it was great! What a history Cambridge Glass Company had, unfortunately closing their doors back in 1958. The glass displays were unbelievable, with row after... More

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Contains a large display of dinner glassware over a period of almost 50 years. What makes this place unique is that you are able to purchase items that were made between the early 1900's thru the late 1950's, when the Cambridge Glass co. was in business..

We came with a large group and welcomed by volunteers in period costumes. We were divided into groups and taken to different areas of the museum. A guide showed us around the displays of the various kinds of glass and explained when they were made, by whom and the significance of the many colors. We had a hands on rubbing... More

The collections of glass through the years is amazing! Many rows of beautiful colored and clear glass! A display of the glass blowing demonstration. It makes you wonder how much antique glass you have in your own house! I'm sure my family owns some Cambridge Glass! After admiring the beautiful glass pieces don't forget to visit the gift shop for... More

My wife and I were part of a motor coach tour that stopped at this museum. They really rolled out the red carpet for our group. Some of the ladies were dressed in period clothing. All of the guides were friendly and very knowledgeable about the glass items produced here. We were separated into small groups and shown all of... More

We had a great guided tour, which was very interesting! I learned a lot about what they produced and about the process. It was a very educational experience.
