Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This arcade has the beauty that only exists in something that was built when there were artists that took the time to add details to the structure that is missing from the straight lines of today's buildings. The fact that the south entrance is 12 feet higher than the north entrance adds to the magnificance of the structure. There are interesting shops on boths sides and levels.

Wonderful to enjoy this type of architecture, and visiting during covid was able to really take my time to see all the details. Those who want to do lots of shopping and eating have options now, but obviously will have more once covid passed. IMHO definitely worth a visit.

This building forces you to look up left and right as soon as you enter. It is a beautifully kept work of art architecture that just makes you feel like you stepped back 100 years into the retail center of super wealthy Americans. I picture tuxedos, top hats, women with lavish dress and gloves and everyone speaking like Ingrid Bergman and Jimmy Stewart. What a gorgeous place!

This place was built in 1890,s one of America’s first indoor shopping mall. Updated and renovated over the years, this place is incredible, multi levels of shopping, a bunch of restaurants and eateries all around. The Arcade is attached to the Hyatt Regency for even more convenient stays. It’s walking distance to many of the Cleveland sites including the progressive stadium, local casinos and the Rock and Roll hall of game.

Chose this site for a Feb. wedding in case weather made outdoor photos and travel difficult. You could not take a bad photo there as the architecture makes every shot beautiful. Stayed at the accompanying Hyatt and the experience was top-notch. The hotel is recently remodeled and every staff member we met was professional, polite, and efficient. Very reasonable price for hotel block and reception. Sadly, many of the storefronts are empty but those that are there are great. If you are just walking through, you can see it in less than an hour. Everyone that came through took lots of photos. A true Cleveland treasure!

This budding is fabulous. The detail and the hugeness of it is worth a walk through. It’s such a shame that it is virtually empty, don’t know how much was filled pre pandemic. Go to Pizza 216 for excellent pizza (we had the veggie) and great beer and atmosphere.

The architecture and style of building was cold but there wasn’t a lot to do. Most of the spaces were empty or not open on the weekend. The hotel and hotel lounge/restaurant take up half of the spaces and a pizza place is on the other end.
4th street restaurants and bars are close by but don’t open till 11 or 12.

My daughters and I were on a spring break trip to Cleveland and stopped here as part of wandering around downtown for a morning. The Arcade is worth a stop and walk through as the architecture is stunning. My impression is that it has picked up a bit since some of the people who wrote reviews visited. I don't know what the Hyatt rooms are like but I would love to stay here for the ambiance alone. When visiting Cleveland, do plan to spend some time downtown and do a walk through.

We were here on a weekend and there was not a whole lot going on. Most of the former stores look to be offices now, and the arcade serves as a kind of entry to the Hyatt Regency.
It would be amazing to have stores re-opened here so that it will be humming with activity again. It will take time though.
From the pure standpoint of architecture and artistry, the Arcade is definitely worth a visit.

Just strolling around and made a point to locate this building ...spectacular interior although my impression was that the shops were depressed due to covid concerns leading to a stop in foot traffic. There was a wedding group there snapping pics...beautiful setting

We are staying at The Hotel. Going to Cleveland Clinic. Any restaurants open tonight?..... late afternoon suggestions?

I'm sorry; I just saw this. I agree with the other 2 reviewers. Also, and along the trolley route, are some restaurants near Playhouse Square, about 10 blocks west. District, in particular, I think is fabulous. Good luck at the Clinic and I hope you found a restaurant and enjoyed it. If you have time, stop in at our beautiful grocery store at East 9th and Euclid - Heinen's - it's one of a kind!
