I stopped in hoping to spend a few hours getting a feel for the early history f Cleveland. What I got was We're only open 2 afternoons a week, almost no explanation or interpretation of what I was seeing, too many weird little plywood cut outs that were way overdone, and some poorly tended flower gardens. The Dunham Tavern & Museum hosted the music festival Agumboot with 12 great bands on 10 Midtown acres on the Eve of The Cleveland RNC. The Dunham Tavern is a slice of Cleveland history that seems to grow in beauty and relevance each year. Stop by and share the history ,gardens and peace with a friend.

As the city has grown and decayed, this beautiful old tavern remains a reflection of the past. This is really a wonderful and well maintained property. Surprising it's still here. Highly recommend

It was a stopover during its heyday during the stage coach era and it is a great stop over today since it is situated on Euclid Ave right between the University Area museums and Downtown Cleveland. Fun, historic and relaxing. We visited August 2009.

Who would think such a gem was located so close to University Circle and University Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic. The weather was warm and I was able... More
