Before the Tribe

Went to AJ Rocco's on the Fourth of July, before the Tribe game. Service was a tad slow, but friendly, and the food was very good. All in all a good family experience.

First time here was on New Year's Eve before the TSO concert at the Q. Have been back twice since and it's now my regular stop before any event in downtown Cleveland. Great pizza, sandwiches and cold beer. And don't miss the amazing pasta salad. Patrick, the bartender, always takes great care of us.

We were going to the Cleveland Indians game and decided to have dinner first. Walking down Huron and a gentleman invited us in to AJ Roccos. The prices were reasonable and the sandwiches we had were fantastic The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience.

The sandwiches cost over $10 for your basic turkey and tomato and lettuce. You have to stand in line to order, and it was a slow moving line with just one person working as an order taker and cashier. The atmosphere could be kind of trendy but it just looked tired to me. Could you a little sprucing up. Oddly... More

My buddy & I were heading to Quicken Arena for a Cavs game with our kids. We stopped here on a whim. The pizzas were great, they poured an excellent pint of Guinness and we had a blast. I highly recommend it!

I was out for lunch and planning on going to the Clevelander. It was a cold day -1 before the wind chill. I was planning on trying AJ Rocco's the next day when I saw the sign for Clam Chowder. This was the perfect day for soup. I walked in at 1:15PM. There were 7 people not count me. I... More

I went to CLE for a wedding along with several other friends. This place was close to our hotel and opened at 8:00am. Perfect for Irish coffees and mimosas! We went every day of our trip and Bob treated us like VIP's. We had great food and drink throughout our stay, but Bob and Rocco's were the highlight.

Stopped here in August of 2014 before the ArenaBowl. Downtown was up for grabs with the Gladiators, Indians and Browns all in action. We opted for this place because it looked calm. It was perfect. Sandwich and a drink, boom, easy. Service was great too. It is an interesting place. It's a bar/coffee shop/deli/bakery. Americans sure love alcohol and caffeine... More
