Lots of character, older venue

We drove from Pittsburgh to see Clutch on New Year's Eve. It is an older venue, an old movie theater by appearance. It has lots of character if you like architecture. They had a bar concert side and lobby side. The merchandise table could have used more help, there was only one person running it. The line was longer for... More

It was our first time at the Agora and we traveled from Chicago to see Stryper's 30th Anniversary tour of the To Hell With The Devil album. This concert was also in our home town, but we wanted an adventure, so.... The Agora is a good concert hall - be prepared to stand (just like House of Blues), if you... More

...but nothing spectacular by any means. More times than not, shows are on a smaller stage but it is what it is. Far better than the old Peabodys by far!! The location is pretty questionable, but if you park in the lot directly behind the venue, you won't have much of an issue other than the various bums asking for... More

The concert I went to see was Skillet. There was barely any room for anyone. People had to sit on the floors. Some of the seats were broken. It was really crammed and uncomfortable to be so close to people like we were. It could be such a great venue if it had better seating, more room, and wasn't so... More

I've lived in Cleveland all my life, and was excited to learn that a friend was going to be playing at the Agora. My friend played a great show, but the Agora was a disgrace in my mind. First impression was it was incredibly hot. I semi understand not wanting to pay for air conditioning, but at the very least... More

My experience was mixed. One of my favorite bands was playing here, so the venue didn't matter. However, the bars were limited, the bathrooms needed attention, even early in the evening, and the air was so stuffy. --I will go back, but only for my favorites.

Very friendly wait staff and the environment was explosive with good vibrations, and outstanding people. The drinks were refreshing, and the food was wonderful. A must stop for alternative style entertainment and eats.

Saw Sawyer Fredericks here in concert - no air conditioning was the worst of it. It was absolutely miserable. Uncomfortable folding chairs did not help. The show was great but no way I would go back.

Good venue for smaller music acts...nice stage and set. Neighborhood ok but a tad sketchy with homeless and working girls. Pretty decent bar attached (Encore) with good food and drink while you avoid the lines and cold. Downstairs (non public) restrooms need some serious love and care even by guy standards.

This was probably one of the best venues I've been to. The security was the nicest I've ever experienced. The balconies that overlooked the stage were cool, I loved the historic feel. The lights were awesome. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity I have to see a show here.
