The district is full of small restaurants with great food and drinks. There are quite a few bars to grab a nice drink and the first Saturday of the month is gallery hop to check out the local galleries. A nice stroll up and down High street is also worthwhile for the sights and sounds.

Very ecletic area full of shopping, restaurants and bars. It can get quite busy so just be aware. We didn't have a car but walked from our hotel (easy walk especially on a beautiful day) and then took the CBus back to our hotel which was easy to do. I did notice there wasn't much parking so that would likely... More

The Short North Arts District with its distinctive iron arches is definitely eclectic and unbearably hip, It is also insanely crowded and obscenely priced. Of course we made the mistake of visiting on a busy weekend with events in the Nationwide Arena, Shottenstein, and the Convention Center all going on. Parking was nonexistent. If you must go, try to time... More

Short North is eclectic, fun and hip. If you want to eat at some of the best dining in Cbus, SN offers it! Also has some of the coolest shops for gifts, clothing etc. The bars are top notch as well. Of course art is huge here, plenty of fine art. Also has excellent hotels nearby. Overall one of the... More

The Short North district makes for a pleasant time, morning, afternoon or evening. Restaurants abound of many different types, mixed with shops that make for great browsing. I like going out with the husband to one of the many restaurants and then strolling among the shops afterward. True, it can be insufferably hip, so keep your sense of humor. Parking... More

Great place to eat, great place to shop. Also nice to just stroll down the street and check out street art and galleries.

Gallery Hop in the Short North is the perfect way to get started learning just what is available to see in the Short North. It runs from 4:00 to about 10:00 on the first Saturday of every month. The galleries stay open and many have artists there to talk with. There are all kinds of shops as well with unusual... More

The Short North runs along about 10 blocks of North High Street immediately north of the Columbus Convention center. It is a fabulous mix of shops, galleries, bars, breweries and restaurants. It is unmatched in any other part of Columbus. It is easy to spend a full day there. Unfortunately, parking is a nightmare, particularly on the weekend. As a... More

A great area of Columbus to find a restaurant. This area was a dump in the 90s, now it's beautiful. A great time for couples or families.
