This historic 1930s building has been home to the Supreme Court of Ohio since reopening in 2004 after a meticulous four-year renovation. The doors are open to all and the public is encouraged to visit and admire firsthand the beautiful Art Deco building and its array of murals, bronze sculptures, mosaics, and symbols that adorn the interior.

The Supreme Court of Ohio offers a self guided tour where you can murals depicting the history of Ohio. The building is open to the public, but you will need to leave your photo ID with the entry guard and go through airport-like screening. Look...More

Was well worth it to come here for a short visit. Amazing building and architecture inside. They have tours you can sit in on that start in the actual Supreme Court on the lower level just around the corner from the security entrance. Bring an...More

I worked for the State of Ohio for decades. Started in 1979. Back then this building was just another state office building housing various departments. Had desks and cubicles jammed all over the place. What was then what would become the courtroom were just rooms...More

The Court is housed in a restored Depression era building which is worth a visit just to view the decorated ceilings.

The courthouse was renovated several years ago to restore it to the original plans. Security is tight and you need to show ID before vistiting. It is very cool.

Building was completely renovated about 5 years ago. Beautiful exterior and is set on the bank of the river running through downtown Columbus. Interior of building contains many paintings and artifacts.
