Located 0.2 miles (0.3k) south of South Ridge Road on the dirt, but passible in an ordinary car, Middle Road, this 136 foot (41.5m) Howe truss bridge was built in 1868 and refurbished in 1984. While the bridge is set in a nice natural area, it is surrounded by private land making viewing of the bridge from different perspectives limited but walking the bridge and examining its construction is worth a few minutes of one’s time.…

This was a cool country bridge. I had never seen a wooden covered bridge before and it took you back to an era where things were a little slower and life was laid back. It was a good experience.

My wife and I drove all over Conneaut and went though a bunch of covered bridges. It's not quite my thing but my wife loved them. Very Picturesque.
