This is a great Metropark. The trails are great for hiking. The nature center has an indoor stream that is great for kids to explore. By far, the greatest feature is the bison herd. A day is always improved with a visit to the bison pasture.

We went there to hike their trails and the trails are really nice for walking, running or biking. The scenery is okay except for the Bison and the Center. Those are excellent. We just happened to be there on National Bison Day and the Bison were out and they had all kinds of pelts, displays and things for kids to... More

Battelle Darby Creek is a large Metro Park located on the southwest side of Columbus, near Galloway. There are hiking trails both long and short. Mostly gravel, well maintained and good for trail running as well as hiking. There is a herd of bison that live in the park, although they've never been out where I could see them when... More

This is a great Metro Park. The bike / walking trails are paved and wide enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. Lots of wild life in the area including deer, fox, chipmunk, coyote, rabbits, and squirrel to name a few. There is an area that houses several Buffalo and they can be seen right from the trails. Playground and picnic shelter... More

Rode over 10 miles throughout the park, experienced the wildlife and landscape. Family friendly with observation stops along the way. Would take the ittie bitties to experience the Bison roaming in the fields

This place was always my favorite area as a kid, and growing up, but in the last several years they have acquired more land for the park, and it has really paid off! We recently attended the Columbus folk festival at the Indian picnic area, and it was such a nice place to have an event! I couldn't believe that... More

This is always a great place to go hike or walk. There is even the live stream that I always make time for to see some of the creek fish and turtles they volunteer to look after!
