- Jumi CMumbai, India3 contributionsAwesome Manali...breathtaking views and simple good people aroundWe visited Manali on 21st April 2024. It was a lovely experience. The places we visited had breathtaking views. The Maggi stalls indeed added more to the amazing experience. I traveled with my husband and two small kids. Initially I was a little skeptical thinking it might be hard. But the people here are very friendly, SIMPLE and HONEST, everything was smooth and very good. We stayed in The 14 Gables hotel. This place was like a cozy home for us. It's a must visit. We hired a Innova with Mr Krishna(+91 82197 47879). I think the cab plays a important role in making up the experiences about a new place. The guy was amazing, and showed us the very beautiful side of Manali. We visited Koksar via Atal Tunnel, Solang Valley, Kothi, Gulaba, Kullu, Nicholas Roerich art gallery, Naggar Castle, Rafting point in Kullu, Vaishnu Devi temple( must try food), Hampta pass, Sethan village, the mall road in Manali and local Sightseeing. Overall a very good experience and would love to visit again.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 27 April 2024
- vfm1Mumbai, India76 contributionsWorth the effort if you are fitIt is challenging if you are not fit. Prepare well with enough cardio exercises. During the trek, drink lots of water. Take a porter if you doubt your fitness. The trek is breathtaking all through as the landscape changes from green to dry.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 June 2024

I visited Hampta pass with my friends in the second week of July. And those were the best moments. The route of this trek is very beautiful, it had everything like walking in forests, through rivers, rocks, waterfalls, and snow. All the campsites were in beautiful places, and the food offered was delicious. This trek was also a bit difficult, so it is important for people to be physically active before visiting this place. In mountains timing is very important, you have to start the trek on time because the weather can change at any time so you have to complete the trek in a limited time.
But on every step, you will witness the beauty of mother nature.
Kailashrath trek made it possible for us.

A good half day trip from Manali. You need to take permit from SDM office in Mall road , only after that you can go to Hamta pass . A very scenic place close to Manali. You can enjoy waterfalls and treks. Actual Hamta pass is far off and difficult to reach but one can take small treks as per one’s convenience . Enroute is a hydro power project. Also it is a popular camping site and adventurous people do overnight camping enroute to Hamta pass. There are lush green meadows all around and it is less crowded place. Nature lovers will definitely enjoy it

The trek is beautiful and scenic in every step. The camp sites were in very beautiful places which made it even more amazing. It was a 5 trek that involved river crossings and mountain climb along with the last day of snow filled pass crossing. The altitude thing is a bit of challenge but this is what makes it a wonderful one. Along with the trek we were accompanied by the best trek leaders from Kailash rath who are a great sport to be with. They motivate you and take good care when in need. The food and tents and other amenities are extremely commendable even in such places. All timings are followed strictly and that’s what helps you do it successfully. The landscape of Hampta pass trek is worth going in a lifetime.

Best experience if planning out for a trek for the very first time. Friendly guides. Good food. Good trek leaders. Nicely organised. The trek has transported me to a different world, walking at my own pace devouring the ever-changing landscape of Hampta pass and chandratal.I have no complaints absolutely, in eating whatever is offered and gears provided.Kailashrath has put so much details into small things to big things that matters as trekkers we just have to go and enjoy the trek without getting harmed. They also ensured the medical fitness of all members and accompanied us with the required medicines at necessary times. Also took care of us while crossing the coldest river with there chain method holding standstill as a strongest bond.

Thinking about favorite part about the trek, i would say the nature and its diversity. Means, its various colours and forms seen during the single trek and season is worth the watch. An advice i would give to first time trekkers is that you should not worry too much about yourself, rather enjoy the view and fresh atmosphere of the mountains and vallies.

I recently went to trek with Kailashrath treks to hampta pass. This was my first trek with Kailashrath treks. The trek is breathtaking 😍. Kailashrath treks is a solid organization. Everything was very good. Food, toilet facilities, etc. Special mention to our trek leaders, they were very humble in their approach.

It was my first trek so at the beginning, I was nervous and worried about many things. As we know hampta pass trek is medium level of risk. So guidance and mentorship through the journey is very necessary for the new comers. And that was done beautifully by kailashrath treks team.
Most important in the trekking was the trek leaders which are very humble in nature and very helpful. When we are on the trekking journey food, sleeping accomodation hygiene all are much more important and no doubts on it kailashrath trek food was very dilicious and sleeping bags tends which was provided by them was very good in conditions.
If anyone reading this and willing to go on trek confused which one is to choose no doubts in it. I will recommend kailashrath trek. Thank you 😊
