authority dont allow inside , so better avoid its just waste going all the way..even roads are not good

This place is in the radius of 30kms from many towns in Hassan Dist. You can enjoyy to the fullest once the reservoir is full and the water gates have opened. The water gushing out of the gates is extremely amazing and something not to...More

This is quite a big reservoir built across river Hemavathi, huge expanse of back waters extending close to sakaleshpur, can visit to have a glimpse

The Hemavathy reservoir is well-maintained. The path to the reservoir is clean. However, the path to the top was locked and there was no one to open it for us.

This dam is no doubt magnanemous. But the land around the dam is barren.As the ground water table must be high thousands of trees could be planted to create forest,useful in many was.
