It is situated on the National Highway and close to Elephant falls. It is really well maintained museum with all the history of India air force. You will have chance to see real Fighter planes, Helicopter displayed there. You will be proud of being a citizen of India.

Must visit place for exposure to the great history of Indian Air Force. This is located within the campus of Eastern High Command. Do shop for mementos, available at a small shop in the museum.

Visited this place with great pride. Inspires a genuine visitor. It needs more upkeep, and that's a very personal opinion. Wish the souvenir shop had more interesting things rather than some fancy clothes & snacks!

En route to several natural sites, we came upon the museum. While not extensive, it's eye candy for aviation buffs. Several planes and missiles include the front section of a Russian MiG 21 and a Viet-era SAM-2, which Western museums don't always feature. Interior exhibits aren't fancy, but provide strong histories of Indian equipment and the always-uneasy conflicts with Pakistan.... More

there are some nice models of airplanes here and if one is interested you can learn something about flying . also in memory of the airforce personnel who dedicated their lives to the country.

It is smaller in comparision to the one in Bangalore. There is a small cafeteria serving good snacks.

This is where you can see some of our real heroes and read about their bravery and dedication. Same time, see things like Ejection Seat, and canons, and guided missiles etc.

This is not a big museum by any means, but quite an interesting one. There are a few generic displays like Mig-21, Hunter, Iskara Trainer, some missiles, bombs and other armament etc. The indoors section has a bit of information about operations of Indian Air Force in the area and exploits of some local servicemen. There is another section about... More
