If want to enjoy natural beauty then Chilika best place forever. but too much risky at Monsoon time. High tide & weather disturb your trip too. You can travel from capital or puri at single day by car.

Largest salt water lake in Asia, it was the biggest highlight in my Orissa visit. Hire a boat at Satapada (travelling from Puri Side) to view amazing dolphins frolicking around your boat, stop by an island to taste the local sea delights!
