The fort is closed for public and police doesn't allow one to visit . This fort is not maintained at all and they have garbage all around the place . it used to be such a beautiful ruin.

This is one of the tourist spot in Chennai. Unfortunately, it was not properly maintained by Department of Archaeology. But still it is best spot for taking Casual Photography / Short Film

Place is good but on safety part it's worst. There are lot of liquor bottle lying every where and it's not safe to go alone or a couple when there is no people. Only 2 houses near by. Government must take necessary steps to protect.

no. it's just an open beach/backwater side marshy land. the fort is old n almost ruined. no rooms here.
