Great way to spend 5 plus hours, 90 min each way and 2plus hours on the island. Rough seas going out so be aware the Atlantic is rough but John knows his stuff. His two dogs are great.

I had a stroke in April 2021 and am still in recovery needing a walker or stick for mobility. This was to be my first 'adventure; and I was accompanied by my daughter to make sure I didn't fall and damage myself. The weather was calm and we set off towards the cork coast, soon we saw out first dolphins showing out of the water there were two or three of them, and we left them and moved further out to sea, WE saw Gannets, shear waters fulmars and other sea birds. We neared a fishing trawler and the air was filled with gulls and gannets flying above us. Then we saw them more that a dozen of common dolphins swimming all round us breakaking water and porpoising so fast that it was impossible to get a good photo of them no sooner did they surface then the sank, The only thing to di=o was to put away the camera and just enjoy and marvel at the experience. The trip was 'no see no fee' there was no way that that was going to apply. As a celebration of my recovery from the stroke This had it all.

Great trip, the crossing was excellent and we were joined by a pod of dolphins which was very exciting. John, his mate and the dogs were very informative and they really looked after us. We were lucky to have a beautiful blue sky day and Skellig was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend it.
