Bought as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and now wondering what took us so long to get booked in. Had one of the THE best nights ever!!! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by Carl & Kat. The safety briefing put us at ease and Carl looked after us the entire time we were there. Correcting throwing positions, stance etc. We quickly got the hang of if and got competitive with the games he set up for us. It was warm work but he even set up a fan for me! Haven’t laughed so much in ages! Had the best time! The whole atmosphere of the place is spot on, playlists were excellent too and bf appreciated the American beer. Took some fab photos, especially on the throne and even managed to win a medal coming away victorious 3 games to 2 yay!!!!!! Cannot recommend Valhalla enough! Excellent value for money and being taught by such passionate and skilled people made a huge difference. We can’t wait to go back!!

Apart from her heart, Last Christmas my wife gave me a voucher for axe throwing at Valhalla. Long story short (basically involving me losing the voucher for 11 months and then finding it earlier this week), we booked on a whim! The booking process was modern and clean, much like the venue - really smart, great music and very welcoming staff. Our instructor was superb - clear instructions, patient and a good laugh too. Health and safety came first and foremost, and was followed by all attendees present. Over winter, I’d recommend wearing a jumper or hoodie as it was fairly cool indoors tonight. I would not hesitate to recommend this activity for team away days, date night, stag dos, hen parties, birthday parties etc etc - fun, safe and thoroughly embracing our Vikingr roots!

This was our second time at Valhalla North, we had never done axe throwing before coming here but now we are definitely hooked. We had Jess as our instructor for the session and she was really friendly and helpful. She gave us tips to improve and by the end most of us were managing to land a hit on the board - even hitting a few bullseyes! Would definitely recommend a visit if you’ve never tried it!

Recently booked and attended a private hire event at Valhalla North Axe Throwing booked for 50 people. Kat made the booking process very easy. The event was attended by a wide range of ages and a brilliant evening was had by all. Amazing staff and an amazing experience. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking again, I look forward to my next visit.

This was my first time axe throwing and I loved it. The tutor was very helpful and even made the experience better by introducing games to play while throwing the axes. My daughter that I went with also loved it
