We took my mother here for a picnic. She loved the open air and nature all around. She had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and we wanted to share something we could all experience. She loved it and so did I

lovely walk in the countryside with the grandchildren along the river watching the ponies, the wildlife and the flora in this part of the world are breathtaking. Easy to get to and so silent, free from traffic and the hustle and bustle of towns

We went mid week and there were few people around. Those that were had dogs dripping wet from cooling down in the river. We would like to get to know the area better so will definitely be back. Recommended
