Shame there is not enough space for more displays as they are done so well here, giving taste of the past history of the area.

Altought quite small it tells the history of the Diss. Only opened at certain times as it is run by Volunteers, well worth a visit if in the area.

The museum is very quaint and gives great details of Diss and the surrounding area. It's free to enter with a suggestion to donate and a little shop. The exhibits are interesting a airship exhibit was on when I visited great time to learn about Diss. Half of the museum is accessible for wheelchairs. There is a top area which wheelchairs can access with stairs leading into the bottom area. Manual wheelchairs can access the lower part my going outside the building and through a door but a large step needs to be tackled to enter not ideal for electric wheelchair users like myself. Visit if in Diss as a great look into the past.
