Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We did a axe throwing and escape room bundle and it was such a great time. Dylan, who was absolutely amazing, showed us different axe throwing techniques and did little competitions for us. He’s such a lovely guy even giving us recommendations for local places to go to as we are on holiday and don’t know the area. All staff we came in contact with were really kind and bubbly. Unfortunately we didn’t get the name of the lovely gentleman who helped us with our escape room but it was so much fun. The escape room we did was WhoDunIt and it was brilliant, very challenging and we definitely want to do the others at some point.

Booked axe throwing for a party of four. Geoff was our host and he was very accommodating, allowing us to start later than our booked slot due to two of our party getting lost on the way! He showed us different throwing techniques and facilitated a friendly competition between us.
As it was a quiet day, we were allowed to stay on longer than our booked time, making it very good value.
I can't understand why some people complain about the site. What's wrong with a bit rough and ready when you're finding your inner viking?!

An absolute hidden gem. Lots of Escape rooms and a great deal if you wanted to do axe throwing also. Lots of free parking and staff could not be any friendlier. Escape room had lots of interaction and a great visual and audio performance.

Unfortunately we have had two poor experiences in the escapes rooms, both times some of the equipment was broken and therefore somebody had the enter the room to fix it which spoilt the theme of the room. On the second occasion a key item was broken which prevented us from progressing to the next stage. The host had to enter the room and asked us to pretend and told us what should have happened. At the final stage of the room the exit door was actually already open and only realised afterward the code we used to escape wasn’t even correct!
A complaint was raised privately in attempt to resolve the issue and we were offered compensation but after several ignored emails and many months later this offer was never followed through, hence the review.

We did the Murder at Tudor Crescent and the Beyond the Graves escape rooms on separate days and both were excellent family fun. The creativity and thought that has clearly gone into planning the rooms is so impressive. The hour went so quickly and both parents and our 11 and 13 year olds loved the challenge. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Great wet weather activities. Enjoyed the axe throwing. Good safety talk and tuition, several different techniques, including underhand! Competition with two grandsons, also playing card splitting.

We were messed around with our start time before we arrived and once there the entire experience felt rushed with no briefing, taking of team names prior to the experience and no photos or debriefing after. We had 2 teams using 2 different rooms. The church was poorly maintained and falling apart and the detention was just a tiny room with clues poorly related to the theme of detention. We have done numerous other escape rooms and this was poor in comparison to the others we have done. Would not recommend.

Visited here a few days ago and did the WhoDunIt again room. The room is challenging but not too difficult and was suitable for all ages (literally since our group ranged in age from 17 to 85!) The gamesmaster was attentive and helpful if asked for clues. Afterwards we were offered a couple of minutes complimentary axe throwing which we may very well return to do a full session of during our next visit to Norfolk. Highly recommend.

Really fun afternoon doing both an escape room and then the axe throwing. We'd booked online but when we arrived were advised to change our room selection as we'd unknowingly booked the hardest room and this was our first real escape room.!
The guys were lovely, really helpful and patient with us lol We escaped in time, hurrah! Axe throwing was great fun, we went as a couple and I imagine it would also be good with a group of friends. It's inspired us to do more of this, something a bit different and certainly memorable, thank you!

Absolutely fantastic escape room! (we did who dunnit!) Happy teenagers! Super staff, so helpful and accommodating. Brilliant fun! I challenged the kids to complete it in 1 hour and ten minutes then they could have Crepes! They were .45 seconds too slow! 😆Can't wait to return and do another escape room in October and maybe a touch of axe throwing . A fun few hours.

Hi
The booking says these are 1 hour 30mins, is that the game time or is it the usual 60 minutes ?
£20 per per seems expensive especially when we are a family of 6, most provide discounts when there is a larger group - do you do that ?
Many work out around £15per head for a larger group
Thanks

Axe rooms are 1 and a half hour bookings, escape rooms are hourly.

How difficult are the escape rooms? Is there a set escape rate yet for both?
Written 11 August 2018
To this point there have only been 2 teams escape without receiving a clue. The Classroom has a slightly higher escape rate.
