This is a great place to see wildlife you wouldn't normally see in the UK. I have visited this reserve twice before and not overly concerned at the costs. My last visit cost £11.25 for an adult. The cost of food wow £1.10 for a 1/2 full bag of crisps and every think else pricey.

We arrived at 2.30pm, as a group of 4 adults and 5 kids and it cost us nearly £90 to enter. We asked if there was a family price..."no" and did we get discount, as the park closed in 2 hours "no". The cafe had more staff than the local macdonalds and I am guessing this was why the prices... More

Pensthorpe is great for families. There is a large reserve that you can walk around and plenty of seating areas to simply enjoy the view or picnic and hides if you want to view the wildlife in more peace. There is a nature and bug trail for the kids where they can get their passport stamped and get a badge... More

My husband and I visited on Friday along with my grown up son. I have to say, I was quite taken aback at the admission price, it cost over £27 for the 3 of us and that was with a £6 discount from a voucher! Despite the price, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the park, my husband enthusiastically collecting... More

I don't mind paying for a day out when it's good value. Maintaining these lovely gardens and open space must be costly. It's easy to find some tranquil space. Stunning surroundings. We went at beginning of hols so prob not as busy as other times but plenty of space. Play areas great. Well thought out. Trails good. Kids loved the flamingos.... More
