Our day at the races was enjoyable and although one of our meals was unsatisfactory it was changed without any fuss. Thank you to Trudie for her organising on our behalf.

I have been a member for 3 years always a warm welcome from the car park staff.
It’s a compact course where you can get really close to the action with two fences in the home straight up against the rails on the stand side.
A large variety of food and drink stalls. A pleasure to go to this tight intimate course

We travelled from the north east to go to the New Years Day meeting and the trip was well worth it. The course is a very short walk from the center of town. The facilities for food and drink were very good with lots of choice.
The toilets were clean and tidy, I saw cleaners around the area regularly.
The staff were very friendly.

Even though the racecourse was busier than usual with many who did not understand the etiquette of not all standing at the front of the grandstand when there was space at the back it was an enjoyable day due to the compactness of the course and the hard work of the staff serving refreshments.

First time we have been to fakenham. What a lovely day we had to. Great little racecourse, well run with a really good atmosphere. Lots of food outlets to choose from and much cheaper prices than larger racecourses. All in all a great day out and we will definitely be returning soon.

To experience top class horse racing in friendly and rural fashion Fakenham is the place to go. Great viewing facilities, food and hospitality options. And you can take your dog!

How appalling that the hut for the disabled in wheelchairs was full with abled body folk, taking up valuable spaces.
Carers do not need to be in there, carers can pop in at each race to check up on their person.
Perhaps the racecourse management should supervise the use of that hut. It's quite small as it is, better still invest in better conditions for the disabled.

We often stay in the motorhome, site facilities are always clean and tidy and the pitch rates are good. A great idea from the racecourse is if you are staying on a race day you only need to move your unit for the duration of the meeting but can still visit your outfit between races and Dog friendly!! You can upgrade you enclosure tickets to member status if you want to treat one of you to something different. A good few pubs in town with some great local produce on offer and the Gallow Sports club/restaurant at the golf club will do a fantastic takeaway roast dinner including sweet on a sunday and other things included on their menu 10/10.
