We really spent 6 hours here...and I'd happily go back very soon. The place was great for those less abled, a seat every 150 yards was just what I needed to be able to get round the whole place, but that were placed where there...More

We spent approximately three hours on our visit to the reserve. The price was £5 each and it didn’t feel like a donation. The hides are very accessible as at no time do you leave the boardwalk. We didn’t see any wardens on the reserve...More

Arrived about 2:00pm having cycled there the day before not realising last entrance is at 4:00pm. Having paid the £10 donation and given a little map we set off on the boardwalk. Brilliant little place having wandered for miles around a few RSPB sites without...More

This is well laid and provided us with a lovely couple of hours pottering along the board walks and in the hides which are well kept and provide great accessibility for wheelchairs/pushchairs. Lots of opportunities to see different birds, the staff were helpful and obviously...More

Not a huge place, but lots of birdsong. Feeders throughout bring in lots of birds. Several hides so can sit and watch them. Walking is easy and good underfoot, as the route around is on a boardwalk. Back at the centre is a drinks machine...More

We stopped here as something to do local to campsite the morning we left and before our Sunday roast at the sculthorpe mill restaurant (highly recommended too) We had an 8 year old nephew with us who usually only becomes engrossed in technology or when...More

What a wonderful place, so peaceful and a really relaxing place to visit. The first hide gave us the best birdwatching experience, we saw siskins, bramblings, a willow warbler and marsh tits to name but a few. Very grateful for the couple next to us...More

Easily accessible via a boardwalk throughout the reserve. A variety of habitats offering the chance to woodland and reedbed species. Friendly, informative wardens and reception staff.

Hi there. We only allow assistance dogs on the reserve due to the many ground nesting birds, mammals and amphibians. Sorry.
