We booked to go on the Wash Monster during a trip to Hunstanton. It was October, so a little chilly, but we wrapped up warm and climbed aboard. They take you quite close to the seals without disturbing them, and you are able to get some good photos. The seals don't seem bothered and seem quite used to it. The... More

Despite being a pretty cold day, this was soon forgotten once the Wash Monster got moving. The trip was very informative and interesting with plenty of time to watch the seals from a respectful distance.

We were walking down the promenade when the sea monster was just about to leave - grabbed some tickets and hopped on! Fun and informative, a great way to spend an hour in Hunstanton, highly recommended :-)

Booking system is a little odd, you have to ring and leave a message or pop into the cabin on the promenade. You don't get a call back confirming your booking. Then on the day of the trip you need to phone to confirm before the trip goes out. Otherwise your tickets will be released for someone else. Going on... More

Have been on the Wash Monster twice a year for a number of years now, and has become a tradition that when we go to Hunstanton we go on the Wash Monster. Our family group has increased in size in recent years, but the cost is still very reasonable. Also took the seal trip earlier this year and that too... More

A great way to see the seals on the Wash Monster, an amphibious vehicle. You do need to book ans also confirm by phone before turning up. Not cheap at £16 per adult but you do get a running commentary from Dave on areas of local interest and then you get to see the seals. When we went, there were... More

Born and bred in Norfolk and never been out on the wash monster! We went as a family of four and we all enjoyed it. Great staff, all the guests on the boat were looked after. The commentary was funny and we were given loads of interesting facts. The seals were lovely to see and we were able to get... More

Would definitely recommend going out on the Wash Monster. It is a fantastic experience whatever age you are. This is our third visit on the 1/2 hour tour and you learn something new each time. We have been on the 1hr seal island tour before but these get booked up so quickly.
