    Amazing place!
Was amazing here. Apart from the wind loved every bit of it. So many different shops to go in and around and even won a couple bits in the arcade🥰. I’d definitely recommend coming here either with your partner & friends or a family day out!

    Good
We were in the area and had a walk along the sea wall. The tide was out and there is a board which has the time of when the tide will come in and also the time the tide will go out again. The beach looked nice, there were quite a few people on there and with dogs also. There were some cafes, shops, mobile catering vans along the sea wall and also an amusement park and the sea life centre. There is some boat tours operating from here which the boat can drive on land. This is good to have a walk along, part of the beach on the other side of the town towards the other beach it is rocky so there is likely rock pools. There are toilets, and places to get food, drinks, snacks and ice cream.

    The Beach Joys
Visited Hunstanton with the family and quite simply we couldn't get the kids off the beach. Our young daughter was obsessed with the rockpools and our son was utterly fascinated by the cliffs and the stumming rock layers visible. As parents we absolutely loved strolling along the beach and the fact that the kids were quiet and largely left us alone was a wonderful added bonus! It's a gorgeous place and a real gem. There are plenty of facilities close by and you can easily spend the entire day entertaining the family.

Different meaning to a stick of rock by the seaside
The reason for visiting this beach was really to see the cliffs further along from the sandy beach. It was a sunny day which made them look even more impressive. The top stratum is chalk, which glistened white in the sunshine. The lower strata are varying densities of Carstone which is sandstone and pebbly sandstone with iron oxide content giving them a strong red hue. There are no fossils to be found in this layer but some can be found in the chalk/ limestone layer

    lovely beach
Lovely beach, sandy when tide is out which goes a very long way. Walk the coastal path to NWT reserve and cafe at Holme Dunes or walk along the beach. Access to Mariners Pub at Old Hunstanton, RNLI & Beach Cafe. The rocks under the cliff have fossils but it's not like Lyme Regis (they are mostly embedded). Holkam Beach is great but this is a cost second I think.

Recently visited the beaches in Hunstanton, car park machines very out dated you require £1 coins and at least 9 if you wish to stay for the day! The bar codes not working poor internet connection. On Monday the machines if working took your money but did not give parking ticket.
The bins were overflowing very disappointing.
The beach was lovely and enjoyable.
Please try and improve these issues.

I Love Hunstanton, Norfolk and have from the fist time I went there 20 years ago.
I went there today new years eve 2021. The weather was fantastic for the time of year
and there was plenty of day trippers. We fist had some lunch at the Light house cafe,
most excellent lunch as usual. unfortunately their toilets were closed.
The councils public toilets across the road had a long queue because only the disabled single toilet and the unisex single were open. In appalling condition with no toilet paper in the one I used. As we walked the length of the prom I noticed all the public toilets had queues. As I am recovering from an illness it is good to know there are toilets available. As I felt the urge to visit the toilet again. I stopped at the councils toilets near the swimming pool in Sea Gate Road, there was only 1 urinal available on the men's side, as the rest of the conveniences were closed off. Not of any use to me. The Men's toilets on the Green just past the pier were open, but the only sit down toilet was over flowing. My last chance was the toilets by the bowling green, these were closed. Therefore I had to give up on the day early.

We travelled on Saturday 15 February from Coventry for a day by the sea. We (me, hubby, son & dog) set off early and made good time. Initially we parked away from the sea front but we found a few car parks along the front where we moved to later in the day. We were wrapped up warm and enjoyed the walk along the front and being sprayed by the sea. There is a little play ground set back along the front where our son played for quite a while. The park was clean and the equipment was in good condition. We enjoyed fish, chips and mushy peas from Reg's where we could put our own condiments on which for me was great as I like a lot of salt and vinegar. We then sat in the car, over looking the sea with some good tunes playing and eating & watching the wind surfers do their thing. Fantastic. We then spent a small fortune in the Pier arcade putting 2p into the slot machines and had such a laugh. We rounded off with an ice cream from the shop next door to Reg's and it was amazing and a very generous scoop too.

My extended family went in two cars on Saturday. The parking was hideous and extortionate. The day cost was £10 each vehicle. None of us could get a signal to download the app to pay and the machine only accepted coins, not even cards. Who has £10 in coins? Went to arcade for change and the guy said this was always happening and he has readymade up bags of coins! Loads of people in similar situations. Why have they made it so hard/ impossible to pay? Many people leaving car park without staying because they couldn't or weren't prepared to pay! I won't be returning any time soon!

I absolutely loved this beach. Although it probably isn’t the best for swimming, the sunset, scenery and near by arcades are fabulous. I loved walking along this beach, looking for interesting shells, then getting hot doughnuts on the beach path, and eating them whilst watching the sunset, highly recommended.

We chose to visit Hunstanton for our first visit to the coast for two months because of the lockdown restrictions.
It was pleasing to see that Hunstanton has taken a pragmatic approach, with quite a few people on the beach, but with loads of space tonsure social distancing as well as toilets and cafes being open.
We had a perfect two hour walk along the sand and pebbles - under the blue skies there can't be many better places in the country. And the people we did see were very friendly.

Chips were 6.5/10 from one of the fish and chip shops. Don’t understand the pronunciation of the place, had a big debate about that with my man and didn’t win so probs won’t be going back but it’s a good place to have fun with the kid and indulge in edibles. The locals looked a bit weird but not sure if that was cause they saw me having an emergent number two on the beach or due to my poor sight. I’m technically blind but can see if I squint. Found a maze on the way there and they even let us in for free aww sweet sosig in my 👄

We visited at the beginning of March and although the sun was out, the wind made for a bracing walk along the beach. Beautiful it is but it will be much better ij the summer. Not too far from amusements and shops/cafes with something for everyone

We enjoyed our many long walks in the sea, which went out a very long way. What we did not enjoy was the amount of dogs there, most not controlled. Even though we read somewhere on the prom was no dogs on beach. Also walking on the prom, too many people not social distancing, and walking at you so you had to almost jump out of the way.
