We visited with our two boys (2&5) who loved every minute of the trip, apart from getting off the train at the end. The Santa Special isn't cheap, but an unusual visit to Santa compared to a grotto tucked inside a garden centra or shopping centre.

I am by no means a train enthusiast. However visiting this railway makes you feel nostalgic. Everytime I visit Sheringham the buffet in the station is my first port of call from the car park opposite the station With a hot cup of tea and a home made scone I am ready for my day trip.

A short but enjoyable trip enjoying the occasional view of the sea. Impressed by the attention to detail at the stations in trying to recreate a bygone era.

A very well run heritage railway. Steam and diesel trains run from Sheringham to Holt via Weybourne. All three stations have attractions and history so a very interesting and educational day. It was a bit of a slow journey but that means you can enjoy the scenery. Possibly the biggest and best attraction in North Norfolk, well worth doing the... More

First time we had visited the railway, and we got to ride on a diesel train. The whole enterprise is extremely well run - very helpful staff in great period uniforms, fantastically maintained stations and rolling stock. Am looking forward to going back in the summer to ride on a steam engine!

We regularly do the murder mystery trains on this railway. As always, the meal was superb, the staff friendly and efficient, and the trip on the train was fantastic. However, the acting for the murder mystery was awful. We could not grasp the plot, who was who, and had little time to question actors. When we got off the train... More
