Beach is clean and tidy. The tide was always in when we visited but it was peaceful. Easy access from the town or further along.

The beach is sandy with clean sea water but the massive coastal concrete defences, are not very attractive though local artists have added some interesting pictures to cheer the bleakness up.

Fabulous beach altho need to check tide times if want to be able to play on the sand!! At high tide there are lots of pebbles but sand is great if you can wait for it to go out!!!

Unfortunately it was high tide when we were there so could not walk along the beach but it is a lovely long sandy beach which looks very safe & inviting for a sunny day.

Sheringham beach is a fantastic beach, it is really clean and well looked after, the cafe provides bags if you want to do a bit of beach cleaning on your walk. Dogs are allowed from the end of the concrete walkway towards Cromer and everyone...More

To the best of my knowledge the dog restrictions apply until 30th September and then you can take Fido wherever you want to on the beach.

The best beach is 1.5 miles to a place called West Runton. Beach all the way to Cromer, goodsized car park £3 for the day and a cafe which also offers hot food. The are a few rock pools for the " little ones" to explore

There are markets on Saturday all year and Wednesday in the summer. It's worth remembering that if the weather is inclement the market packs up soon after lunch.
