- wtqfishLondon, United Kingdom24 contributionsSand, sea and sealsLovely long beach, very sandy and great for family even visiting in early January. Not sure if they are always there but lots of seals to be seen just off shore splashing around which was great for kids to see. Only warning would be that the tide comes in very fast which can leave you isolated, plus the car park it seems is often full so may need to park some way off and walk along.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 January 2023
- JTJDUnited Kingdom1,041 contributionsNice clean beach….The beach was clean, well used when we were there in September & easy to access. Along the front was a nice promenade with beach huts at one end that are attractive to photograph. We didn’t have our dog with us but did notice signs detaining the dog friendly zones/restrictions.Visited September 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 January 2023
- Laura JSheffield, United Kingdom185 contributionsIncredible beach and surrounding areaAn absolute amazing town and beach. I've been coming here for about 14 years and will continue to come in the summer months. The beach is well maintained with a lifeguard station where the boat ramp is located. The beach is a very short walk from the main village centre which is useful as that is where most of the holiday homes are located for visited to stay. There is an ice cream shop on the board walk above the beach and seat to over look the sea.Visited August 2022Written 24 July 2023
- LeeT_SandmanDukinfield, United Kingdom208 contributionsA beautiful beach and town ....A lovely day out with my wife to this gorgeous place. Lots to see and do and some very nice cafes for food. Enjoyed a tasty nice artisan ice cream as we walked among the high street. The beech walk was very picturesque but we had the dog so count get down to the actual sea. Didn't spoil out enjoyment tho' and will be coming again soon,Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 August 2023
- EricNorwich, United Kingdom25 contributionsSheringham is always a delightA wander down the main street from the car park or the station will take you past a lively eclectic mix of shops and cafes to a decent beach with far reaching views. If the weather is not suitable for the beach worry not there are a number of attractions from amusement arcades to museums and the ever popular award winning North Norfolk Railway. The main events are the 1940s weekend which really should not be missed. It was one of the best in the UK and is getting back to its former glory after the pandemic. Also the ever popular traditional carnival. It seems there is always something happening in SheringhamVisited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 14 August 2023
- I WLeicestershire, United Kingdom290 contributionspebbly beachWe visited in March, so the sea wasn't overly inviting! I'm sure it's much nicer in the summer. We walked along the beach to Cromer. Go as the tide is going out because there were places where the sea came right up to the cliff bottom. There is a coastal path on top of the cliff, which is much safer.Visited March 2023Written 19 August 2023

Beach beautiful 😍
Has a dog beach.
Very clean, plenty of places to eat.
Or if you just want a drink and cake. Lots of typical seaside shops.

The Beach and town is exceptional!
Everything you need for a holiday is close by- beautiful beaches, lots of lovely bars and restaurants, a steam railway and wonderful places to visit close by. We loved the Crown and the two lobsters and enjoyed visits to Holt, Cromer and Wells next the Sea. Can thoroughly recommend the shopping and also look out for a wonderful pottery shop called Made in Cley - just a short drive away. At this time of year the weather was perfect and the the hedgerows looked lush and gorgeous. Cromer was looking much better than I remembered it from the 90s - looked out for the wonderful second hand bookshop. A really great visit all round.

Fantastic beach. Well sign posted for frog friendly areas. Lovely sand. Brilliant access. Our dogs loved the waves and other dogs to chase. Much better than Cromer where dogs felt unwelcome.

A really long stretch of coastline ranging from sand to pebble. Lots of dog friendly areas and a really good walk. We loved it and so did our dog, although we didn't take her onto the sand.
Quite clean on the bits we walked on and lots of cute little eateries.

I believe so, also you can walk your dog on the beach any time at the far east end or the far west end (lifeboat end) all year.
Best bit to go for nice sand castle building

The best beach is 1.5 miles to a place called West Runton. Beach all the way to Cromer, goodsized car park £3 for the day and a cafe which also offers hot food. The are a few rock pools for the " little ones" to explore

There are markets on Saturday all year and Wednesday in the summer. It's worth remembering that if the weather is inclement the market packs up soon after lunch.
