    Great beach
This is a really lovely beach with lots of cafes. A great place to spend a couple of hours just relaxing and watching the world go by. Nice for dog walking but would be better if more people kept their dogs on a leash. Great mammoth paintings to admire.

Nice even on a bad day
We went on a day trip while in the area. The beach was nice - even on a cloudy and drizzly day. Plenty of things to do including water sports. Lifeguards and flags all along the beach front to keep you up to date on conditions. Lots of coffee shops and cafes to stop in and get warmed up!

    Excellent beach and village
Sheringham is a great place to visit. It has a wide range of shops and places to eat. Parking is good. Beach was a bit wild and windy when we went but still lovely. There was a jewellery shop where the owner was so friendly, even though we didn't buy anything. Lots of charity shops too.

Shame about the usual suspects and their dogs! Always find some selfish fool has allowed the creature to mess and they either leave it or bag it and drop the bag when it did it! Time to bring back dog licences and make them pay for dog bins and clearing up after these anti social pests. The prom and the walk up to the look out and by the shelters and boating pond are the worst!

Walked the coastal path to Sheringham and once in the town there were folks everywhere weaving in and out, collecting in groups. The beach was clean and part shingle and sand although some form of social distancing was attempted it was just like everywhere else a free for all. Recommended for a day visit but I couldn't see me making a long term effort with people dodging, although a one way system was in operation on footpaths and steps it was for other people or so it seemed.

There are so many lovely beaches in Norfolk but Sheringham has never been top of my list. The beach is too rocky for me and it's not as accessible as others. The sand is nice and golden in places and theres plenty of places to eat and drink nearby but it gets way too busy in the summer because its very touristy like most beaches in the area. I would rather spend my time at Sheringham park or at Splash!

This is an extensive wooded area with many rhododenrons, azaelias and camellias. It should have been spectacular in May but it was such a late season little was out. There is, however, an extensive range of trails and woodland walks, some of them steep and good views out to the coast.

The beach itself is really nice, dog friendly once you go North of the promenade.

The main downside is the locations success, far far too busy.... nightmare to find parking and the little streets with the shops as you heading down to the sea front was like walking to a full capacity premier league match

I ventured just outside of the Town and once the sea walls end you have access to a stony then sandy beach and have lost 90% of fellow beach users. A lovely clean beach minutes from the Town but miles from the chaos of Social Distancing. I even got in one last swim for the year.

An absolute amazing town and beach. I've been coming here for about 14 years and will continue to come in the summer months. The beach is well maintained with a lifeguard station where the boat ramp is located. The beach is a very short walk from the main village centre which is useful as that is where most of the holiday homes are located for visited to stay. There is an ice cream shop on the board walk above the beach and seat to over look the sea.

Clean tidy beach. We visited with a dog (had to go to the dog friendly area) and arrived 3 hours after high tide. Over the few hours we were there the beach got better and better. Few pebbles and stones at first but then opened out to a beautiful flat sandy beach, perfect for ball games and playing around.

Clean, cared for beach and promenade. Sheringham is a well serviced town with lots of shops and cafes. The beach is really clean, the locals are lovely and the place feels looked after and appreciated. We stayed for 3 nights in February - dry but cold and loved the freedom the beach gave us with the dog. We loved seeing the locals swimming in the early morning and listening to the waves move the huge pebbles on the beach at night. Great place.

We got the train from Wroxham to Sheringham for a great day out. Loads of different shops to see especially the iron mongers Blyth and Wright in Station Road, it was like travelling back in time with everything you could every need in hardware. Plenty of ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Robin Hood was a very interesting pub with loads of old enamel signs and sweet dispensers decorating and also a great pint of larger too!!
