Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I lived in Swaffham at 1 Oaks Close back in 1998-2001. My ex-wife absolutely loved this shop and bought many wonderful pieces over the couple of years we live in town. I will be back in the UK next month (Feb 24) and this will be my first stop since the ex kept everything I bought there! Can’t wait to explore the treasures once again!

Now don’t get me wrong I am biased. We first started to visit this emporium quite a few years ago. We were renovating a property that went on and on. Our furniture purchased here was stored until we needed it and then delivered without any issue. Top quality products at fair prices and this, alongside the friendly owners, keep us popping back even though it’s quite a journey. We have introduced friends and family from many parts of the world as they visit us. It’s the place to take them to see their extensive range of antiques and collectibles. There is something here for all pockets. We don’t try to haggle like they do on TV because the prices are fair. If we want Charity shop goods we head there. Business is harder now than at any time in recent times so a little support goes a long way- hence this review by myself and my wife. Don’t believe all you read in reviews good or bad. Make your own mind up.you can see most things on the Facebook page and ask questions. Good luck

Back to Norfolk for another short break but summer was on leave . Warmish but grey skies and on and off showers . By the time we had returned from a very dissapoiming visit to Oxburgh Hall his face was falling fast . We dropped into Swaffham for a coffee and after dropped on this hidden treasure . I,m into antiques and Mr grumps collects military antiques .

You should of seen his face light up when he discovered the range here . He collects badges and medals more or less from all l the major countries involved from both wars and he was the kid in the candy shop . Apparently the rarest and hardest to find he tells me are German so he was over the moon to discover a whole private collection had just come in .

We were in there an hour . A real alladins cave and lovely owners Lee and Kelly are so helpful and knowledgeable. Bought a beautiful Tiffany lamp whilst he was drooling over his military stuff which he says is the biggest collection of the stuff he has seen in years . But there really is something for everyone here and Lee and Kelly told us different stuff comes in continually. Well worth a visit and turned our long weekend around.

One of the best antique shops I have visited with amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

We visited a few weeks ago during a weekend, very nice collections, price is fair too. Ended up buying two pieces of furniture in the shop. The owner was extremely kind and went a long LONG extra mile so that I can conveniently pick up the item. Much appreciated for their help, would definitely visit them from time to time.

VISIT THE VERY BEST !! ..........YOU WON'T NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE .......................Shabby Tatt has always been a great place to visit and imerse yourself in all manner of Antiques, Retro and Militaria fare ..........we've seen the business grow and expand over the years, and with very good reason ........its been done with a creative flair and passion, giving the customer what they want, at fair and respectful prices. The new and expanded shop (next door the the old shop) is really excellant .......well laid out, clean and tidy, with professionally presented good quality product .......and none of that old rubbish (that is just one just step away from the local dump) found in so-called Retro shops elsewhere. This shop and business continues to showcase the owners passion for what they so successessfully do so well.

Brilliant shop full of so many different antiques and collectables. I was hoping to find some militaria and they had loads of it reasonably priced too. Went there twice and had to be dragged out kicking and screaming by he wife. Can't wait to visit the area again so I can pop in once more.
